Then since your nation is Muslim, has Herat, is Iranian culture, you will have “Enthrone Timurid Prince” decision in the decision list. Choose Jafari if Shia or choose Hanbali if Sunni. When you begin you will get to choose the school. It will allow you to use Deus Vult CB once you complete religious idea. If you want to play faster and little harder in the beginning, set your religion as Shia. I also recommend setting the traditions as the ones related to “liberty desire”. Also lower the government to duchy level. Also, set your national ideas to minimum. Then, set every monarch traits, points, and age to minimize the cost. This is a guide to finish this tedious “From Humble Origin” achievement fast and easy.įirst, set the capital of the custom nation in Herat, the capital of Timurids. But for most people, I believe, playing as custom nation isn’t that fun as playing as historical nation. Not all people are the same and I respect your point of view, I just want that this game could bend a little so it would more rewarding an fun for me, and that's why I came with the idea of normal mode achievements. This is meant for the Achievement called “From Humble Origin” in EU4.įor this achievement, many people needs a lot of playing time. We just have different feelings about difficulty and rewarding, tried the game in Ironman and just didn't find it rewarding nor fun, it was the opposite found it punishing and boring. I find Ironman so much more rewarding because decisions have consequences that can last centuries, also achievements in this game allow for replayability without the temptation to cheat which normal play would grant. You've said it's not difficult to achieve some achievements so why make it easier? Don't understand the reasoning (not being critical just some further explanation of your logic would be helpful as it might be me). Essentially if you achieve them you deserve the achievement and no one can take it away from you. EU4 MODDED GAMES ACHIEVEMENTS MODS
I agree that console and some mods can turn the most difficult feats in a game just a joke, but as I said, the game is enough difficult in its easier mode. Ok, we have Ironman so why not a set of ironman achievements and let people that are playing it on normal mode without mods get theirs. And why the rage against people that prefer easier games, if they are not spoilling your fun? They just want to have theirs and for them fun is not coupled with frustration. To keep playing the game after that is what I'm talking about without saves, all sets favouring the AI, etc. Really not this difficult to get achievements on EU4 ironman, you just need to start the game and with an hour or two you'll have a few of them. Which is better than the "Yay you click da strt buttn, you so smrt" achieves of MOST games. Well, thank God this game asks you to ACHIEVE something before it rewards you with a badge.
